She is a Certified Specialist in family law and was named a 2020 Rising Star in San Diego by Super Lawyers. Raelynn has exclusively devoted all aspects of her practice to family law matters. Raelynn approaches her cases with a focus on her client’s well-being, both emotionally and legally. She strives to counsel each client through every aspect of his or her case in a manner that suits the client’s best interest, while being as efficient and ethical as possible.

Raelynn grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, and moved to San Diego to attend California Western School of Law, from which she graduated cum laude in the top 12% of her class in 2010. Raelynn completed an internship with Wilkinson & Finkbeiner during her final semester of law school. After passing the Bar Exam in 2010,  Raelynn worked at several other leading San Diego law firms where she refined her skills as a San Diego divorce and child custody attorney before returning to the Wilkinson & Finkbeiner team in 2021.

Prior to attending and graduating from California Western School of Law, Raelynn earned her Bachelors of Science degree, summa cum laude, from Northern Arizona University in 2007. During the early years of her legal career, Raelynn took a special interest in child custody relocation cases as well as interstate and international custody matters. These types of cases can be complex and difficult to navigate, between competing state and international jurisdictions. Raelynn has successfully counseled clients through these difficult times.

Along with relocation and jurisdictional child custody cases, Raelynn is experienced in managing cases involving pre-marital agreements, high-conflict child custody issues, complex property division matters (including high asset and high-income earner cases), child and spousal support issues, paternity cases and post-judgment modification matters.
